Promoting FHTH’s Programs in the Western Region of Liberia

SUMMARY:
FHTH is a humanitarian organization servicing people in need. As such we have a small group of volunteers on the ground in Liberia working with the local communities to improve access to primary health care for people internally displaced, rehabilitating primary schools, clinics, and vocational schools in rural areas, and providing them with emergency supplies such as medicine, clothing and food. We also work with health care providers in clinics aimed at educating the public about the dangers of malaria, diarrhea, and sexually transmitted infections such as HIV/AIDS and EBOLA; how to prevent the transmission of these diseases, encouraging safe motherhood practices and personal hygiene.
