From Hunger to Harvest, Inc. (FHTH)  mission is to provide educational and humanitarian services in West African nations that have been decimated by civil wars and political instabilities. With programs in Liberia and plans to spread to places such as Sierra Leone and the Republic of Guinea, we are changing the lives of the world’s most vulnerable through development and self-empowerment.

ABOUT US

Founded in June 2002, From Hunger To Harvest, Inc. is 501(C) (3) corporation based in America. This is a publicly supported charity exempt from federal income tax. In other words, all contributions such as monetary donations, bequests, legacies, devises, transfers, or gifts made by contributors and donors to FHTH mission are fully tax-deductible. We are dedicated to providing educational and humanitarian services in African nations that have been decimated by natural disaster, civil wars, and political instabilities. Currently we operate an adult-literacy program in Liberia, serving residents in the Clara Town region.

Additionally, we are working in the Clara Town region, to improve primary health care for returning refugees and internally displaced persons (IDP) by rehabilitating primary schools, clinics and vocational schools in rural areas and providing them with emergency supplies such as: medicine, food and clothing. We also worked with health care providers in clinics aimed at educating the public about the danger of malaria, diarrhea, sexually transmitted infection such as HIV/AIDs, how to prevent them and encourage safe motherhood practices and personal hygiene, amongst others.
